For their Spring/Summer 2010 campaign, CDG entrusted the creative control to artist Stephan J. Shanabrook. World-renowned for his unique take on societal beauty norms, Shanabrook is best known for his project 'Paper Surgery' where he printed photos of models and folded the papers multiple times to distort the images and create an entirely new perspective on beauty and ugliness.
This technique inspired the 2010 Comme Des Garcon Shirt Campaign, where he re-used the technique with CDG's in-house models.
