But separating from the norm wasn't always easy, to sell collections you needed to stand out. Prada did just that, not only through their contemporary designs but how they advertised them.

With imaginative photographers Steven Miesel and Peter Lindbergh at the helm, Prada could construct dream-like campaigns that created ethereal domains within viewers' minds. Decades later and these campaigns remain a point of reference amongst young creatives.
